Rotating picutes on Blogger

As a new Blogger user it was weird for me that when I added pictures to my post with the 'Insert image' function on the editing bar, they all got into vertical 'portrait' orientation. Any attempt to rotate them right the the post box failed. I then googled the issue but all suggestions were to go to Picasa, edit the image there & post it back to the blog, which is nonsense. In fact, one article said that despite all complaint messages to Google and other users' suggestions, the above mentioned method is the only one that works. So there I went posting my picture with people walking on the walls...

Imagine my surprise when I decided to just have another try & copy-pasted the photos with ctrl+c/ ctrl+v from Windows explorer & it worked! My people are standing back on the ground! Hope this post helps someone:)
